We have an engaged and active Board of Directors, led by President, Jim VanNostrand (Jersey Mike’s Subs), Vice-President, Cortland Coleman (Coleman Communications), Treasurer, Mary Guetzlaff (Manasquan Savings Bank) and Board Secretary, Linda Conroy (O’Brien Funeral Home). Filling our Board of Directors seats, Jack McHugh (Re/Max Bay Point Real Estate), Frank Scarpone (OceanFirst Bank), Brian Alvarez (MonAlyssa’s Restaurant), Nicole DeMatteo (Ocean County Library), Carol Walkner (Spark Promotions and Local Author), with two new additions this year, Paul Altero (Bubbakoo’s Burritos) and PPCC founder Maureen Ciribassi (Professionally Yours). This dynamic group brings years of business experience to the table, we are very fortunate to have them this year serving on the Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
You will be invited to many networking events, which are always sponsored by our members and free for you and your staff to attend. We not only network with our immediate 225 member chamber, but also with the surrounding business communities. You can look forward to networking breakfasts, member lunches, dinners, after-hours, expos, major events, women lunches…many ways to promote your business.
The benefits of your Chamber membership extend far beyond social involvement. The number of referrals, free advertising, learning opportunities and well-educated speakers go beyond what one will find in any other chamber of commerce.
To promote the local business community, it takes a community.
