The FREE Event is celebrating 35 years in 2015!  WOW!

Judging takes place along the parade route at the corner of Dorsett Dock Road and Bridge Avenue.  The Parade participants, Pulled Floats and Vintage Cars meet at STS Service Center Black Top, 3117 Bridge Avenue.  All Motorized Floats, Dance Groups, Zombies and Bands meet at the Corner of Cohocton and Bridge Avenue.  The parade marches down Bridge Avenue to Community Park where the winners are announced and trophies are awarded by Mayor Robert Sabosik and Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce President, Jim VanNostrand.

Now in its 35th year, the parade attracts an abundance of spectators who line the streets to catch a glimpse of the hundreds of contestants, including couples, groups, children and even pets who vie to be recognized for their imaginative and often outrageous costumes.  There are 12 categories with trophies awarded to 1stplace winners and one Best Overall Grand Winner. Winners are announced and given a trophy at the end of the parade route.  This year the 2014 Halloween Parade Committee Chairman is Brian Alvarez of MonAlyssa Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria.

“This wonderful Point Pleasant tradition is the home of many Halloween enthusiasts and parade fanatics.  We encourage the whole town and surrounding towns to participate in this great fun at the Jersey Shore”  Eileen McCabe, Executive Director of the Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce.
